A Little Bit Of Dawn Goes A Long Way

Maybe my age is showing, but does anyone remember the Dawn Dish Soap commercial about cleaning the oil spill off of ducks and other animals affected from the tragic oil spills? They advertise how gentle it is on the animals and how safe it was. They focused on how well it cleaned dishes, and yet so versatile you can use it to make bubbles for your kids!

Well, I want to say 'Thank You' for all the help you provided and how many animals lives you affected, as well as humans, because as for this house the only dish soap to use is Dawn. I also have to say thank you again, because as I come out to different events both publics and private, with my cannon in tow, and fun chaos following, I get approached almost every time about the same question. 'So, do you just use Dawn Dish Soap?'. I mean, it is very helpful because people approach me and ask questions, vs leaving it to the imagination and connections are made. So... go ahead...ask the question.

'So, do you just use Dawn Dish Soap?'

Now, I cannot speak for all Foam Party Providers but I do know that I buy my concentrated solution from the manufacturer of the cannon. Let me rephrase- I did not base my entire business venture on the backs of Dawn Dish Soap.

Is it still safe? Yes.

Is it still gentle. Yes.

Can you use it for washing dishes. I mean you could, but it would be pricey.

Can you make bubbles out of it? Oddly, no because of the simplicity of the mixture it cannot be used to blow individual bubbles. (But they do sell bubble solution!)

So, I am sure there are more questions, but I wanted to get those out first. I will cover some of the basic questions next. If you haven't already, we have a FAQS page available for other questions that may be lingering.

What is the foam made of?

The foam is made up of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate(Plant-based), Glycerol and Water.

How do you make the solution?

We use a gel concentrate from the manufacturer. Behind the scenes we dilute the gel with water to make our foam solution. This is what is in my 5 gallon bucket that go to each event.

What makes it so special?

It’s Bio-degradable, Non-Staining, Non-toxic and Hypoallergenic! The solution is made by the manufacturers of the cannon and have found the perfect ratios to create unimaginable amounts of fun.

So, I hope that this helps clear up my number one asked question! Anyone have any guesses what the number one sarcastic comment is? The one that everyone says and thinks they are clever enough to be the first?? Any takers??

"Well, that's some good clean fun."

I'll leave that right there and talk to you soon!
